Home!

Barbie and Julia finished their travels and arrived at home at 11 pm last night. It was a kind of rough night for sleeping for Julia, but it is great to have them home.

It is amazing the sense of relief that I have right now that I haven't had for months.

We are very glad to be a Minnesota family of 5.

Take care,

doug

YAY!

We can't be happier for your family that you are at last together again and in your own home.

Like everyone says, thanks so much for the time and effort you put into this blog over the last few months. I'm sure that there were instances where typing away for us wasn't the way you wanted to be spending your time.

I didn't show the blog to my World History classes, but this week I told them about it while talking about the importance of the invention of printing press and how that was such a revolution in communications in the 1400s and 1500s. I compared it to our experience being able to read about your daily adventures, talk to you on the phone, and even actually see you in a video phone conference thingy while you were on the other side of the world. We truly live in an amazing age of communications.

So thanks again for opening the window and letting us all look in.

With much love for all of you,

--Annie

Hey all...

I want to thank you, as well, for the opportunity to peek into your lives for this special time. I am very thankful to the Lord for His blessing of protection over you all till the time came for you all to be together again.

I know life will still be somewhat of an adjustment so I'll keep praying for His hand over your lives. But what a testimony of His provision and blessing on your lives! I look forward to an occasional picture here and there and perhaps a new blog from time to time to let us know how Julia is thriving. (Sounds like she'll be doing well as long as the Cheetos keep coming!)

Love you all and take care...
Cindy
